The who, what, where and how of financing college education: This college seminar will focus on the current ways that college attendance is financed. It will provide an in-depth look at how parents and students can navigate the grant, scholarship, loan, fellowship path to paying for college. We will provide proven methods of reducing college cost and improving the odds-on getting money for college.

 

This seminar is co-sponsored by the Jr. Frontiers of the Mohawk Valley and the 100 Black Men of Syracuse. It is for parents and students in 9th grade through college. This is a free seminar, but space is limited. All participants must pre-register online here. This is a first come first serve event. The time will be from 2pm to 4pm at 2610 South Salina St. Syracuse, NY 13205. Transportation from Utica/Rome will be provided along with light refreshments.

HBCU College Festival: This will be a one-day trip to seniors to apply and interview at over 80 Historically Black Colleges and Universities and to apply and interview for hundreds of scholarships. Oxen Hill, MD., seniors only.

 

February 18th - 24th, 2024 

Historical Black College Tour: This year the HBCU Tour will begin on (Sunday) February 18, 2024 and end on Saturday, February 24, 2024.
